The Philadelphia Eagles have dropped one spot in the SB Nation power rankings to No. 13 overall. After a disappointing loss against the Detroit Lions heading into the bye week, the Eagles will face a difficult test when they host the undefeated Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
The Eagles bye week was a bit tumultuous starting off with a major firing, when Andy Reid showed defensive coordinator Juan Castillo the door. However, other than a little shuffle on the offensive line, not much was changed for the 3-3 Eagles.
Pete Prisco at CBSSports.com had the Eagles at #13. Coincidentally, ESPN.com also had the Eagles ranked at No. 13 and made mention of Reid's 13-0 record coming off the bye. Brian Billick at FoxSports.com actually had the most optimistic outlook on the Eagles situation of any other poll. Of course, he also had them ranked the lowest of any other poll, dropping the team two spots to No. 17 overall.
