Eagles shuffle offensive line again

The Philadelphia Eagles continue to shuffle their offensive line in hopes of finding the best combination.

The Philadelphia Eagles continue to shuffle their offensive line in hopes of finding a winning combination. Danny Watkins is expected to return to right guard this week, which would allow the Eagles to slide Dennis Kelly over to right tackle. King Dunlap would move back to left tackle, sending Demetress Bell to the sidelines.

Kelly started at left tackle while playing for the Purdue Boilermakers, but the rookie has spent most of his time in the NFL at the guard spot. Kelly admitted that he has struggled this season at guard, and suggested that he might perform better if moved back outside.

Philadelphia's offensive line has struggled no matter the combination of players this season. The Eagles have surrendered 29 sacks this season, which is the second worst sack-total in the league. Eagles' quarterbacks have been under constant pressure even when they are not taking sacks, as the team has allowed a league-worst 77 hits on the quarterback.
