The FCS playoff bracket will be announced Sunday at 1:30 p.m. ET.

College football's biggest and best tournament gets underway next weekend, and its participants will be announced on Sunday during the FCS playoff selection show at 1:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU. The Villanova Wildcats will be one of the teams in the field by virtue of winning the Colonial Athletic Association championship.

The North Dakota State Bison, Montana State Bobcats, Sam Houston State Bearkats, Old Dominion Monarchs and Eastern Washington Eagles make up the FCS' top five teams, and each of them will get in to the tournament. Despite their high rank, Old Dominion will take up an at-large spot, as the Monarchs don't have an automatic bid due to their impending move to the FBS.

FCS bracketology site NoBowls.com predicts that North Dakota State will be the top seed, facing the winner of Eastern Illinois and Illinois State in the second round. In addition, the site projects that the Lehigh Mountain Hawks will be rewarded for a 10-1 season with an at-large bid. The Mountain Hawks are predicted to take on the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers in Bethlehem, Penn. in the opening round, with the winner moving on to face third-seeded Old Dominion.

Villanova is projected to face the Georgia Southern Eagles in Statesboro, Ga.
