[Note by JasonB, 11/26/12 10:16 PM EST ] Fletcher Cox & DeSean Jackson are officially out of the game
DeSean Jackson suffered and injured sternum and is doubtful to return to tonight's Monday night football game between the Eagles and Panthers.
It was not apparent on which play or how Jackson was injured, but he was taken to the Eagles locker room after the Eagles second series on offense. He did have x-rays which came back negative.
Eagles rookie DT Fletcher Cox also left the field for x-rays on his tailbone. Those too came back negative and his return has been labeled questionable.
Jackson is currently the Eagles leading receiver with 44 catches for 691 yards. Cox is second on the team with 3 sacks.
The Eagles hold a slim 15-14 lead over Carolina at the half. Rookie RB Bryce Brown, making his first career start in place of the injured LeSean McCoy, has run wild in the first half for 129 yards and a TD. K Alex Henery set a franchise record with his 17th straight made FG.
