The Pennsylvania Quakers won their first game of the season. Unfortunately, they haven't won since.
Pennsylvania has dropped five games in a row, but has a chance to rebound at home on Wednesday night against the Binghamton Bearcats.
The Quakers have been led by the tandem of Fran Dougherty and Miles Cartwright, who are averaging 19.8 and 15.7 points per game respectively. Dougherty is also averaging 9.2 rebounds and just over a block.
Nobody else on the team is scoring more than six points per night, making Penn an easy team to defend.
The Bearcats, on the other hand, are 2-4 but rending upwards, winners of their last two contests. The star of Binghamton has been freshman guard Jordan Reed, who is putting up a double-double on an average night with 17.8 points and 12 rebounds.
Some Quakers fans may be familiar with Reed's name, considering he grew up as a native of Philadelphia.
