Following a busy weekend of college football action, many of the bowl game projections have shifted. Jerry Palm of CBS Sports released his updated picks on Monday.
Palm believes the Alabama Crimson Tide will meet the Oregon Ducks for the BCS National Championship. Alabama snuck away in the fourth quarter with a big win over LSU on Saturday night, while Oregon scored 62 points on USC.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers were projected to reach the Rose Bowl and face the Oregon State Beavers. CBS believes the Florida Gators and Oklahoma Sooners will play for the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans.
Florida State and Louisville will play for the Orange Bowl in Miami. Palm thinks these two teams will win their respective conferences, which have been pretty weak this season.
Finally, the Kansas State Wildcats would face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the Fiesta Bowl. These two teams currently have the best chances of unseating Alabama or Oregon for the title game, although they'll likely need some help.
