The Kellogg's Tour of Gymnastics Champions will appear Friday night at the Wells Fargo Center, bringing a few of the gold medalists from the 2012 London Olympics to Philadelphia.
The 2012 London Olympics have been over for a few months, so you might have forgotten about the accomplishments of America's gymnasts at the games. They're still impressive: the United States took six medals, including three golds, winning the women's team all-around event, with Gabby Douglas winning the individual all-around, and Aly Raisman winning the women's floor exercise. Douglas and Raisman will be in the event, as well as their teammates on the all-around team Jordyn Wieber, McKayla Maroney, and Kyla Ross. Maroney added a silver on the vault while Raisman also won a bronze in the balance beam.
Also performing will be bronze medalist from the men's all-around Danell Leyva, 2008 Olympic all-around champion Nastia Liukin, members of the men’s and women’s 2011 World Championships, along with past Olympians and U.S. medalists in men’s, women’s rhythmic and acrobatic gymnastics, trampoline and tumbling.
