Tyreek Duren and the La Salle Explorers will try to notch their seventh win of the season on Saturday, when they head on the road to take on the Bucknell Bison.
La Salle is currently riding a five-game winning streak. The Explorers last lost on Nov. 18, when the Central Connecticut Blue Devils topped the Explorers, 81-74. Ever since, La Salle has been on a tear, defeating the Hartford Hawks, Villanova Wildcats, Rider Broncos, Penn State Nittany Lions, and Northeastern Huskies.
Duren leads the Explorers in scoring, averaging 17.6 points per game through La Salle's first seven games. Duren, a junior guard, also averages 3.6 assists per game.
If the Explorers are going to defeat Bucknell, they'll have to slow down the Bison's leading scorer, Mike Muscala. Muscala a 6'11 forward/center, who averages 18.8 points and 11.4 rebounds per game.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET at the Sojka Pavilion in Lewisburg, Penn.
