The Philadelphia 76ers (12-13) will play the second game of a two-game road trip when they challenge the Houston Rockets (12-12) at the Toyota Center on Wednesday night.
Currently in the midst of a four-game losing streak, the Sixers have lost six of their last seven contests and possess fourth place in the Atlantic Division. Entering Wednesday night, the team trails the New York Knicks by 6.5 games for the division lead.
Houston is fresh off a 109-96 defeat of New York on Monday night. In addition to being guard Jeremy Lin's first visit to Madison Square Garden since leaving the team, it also marked the Knicks first home loss of the season.
The Rockets have won three of their last four, which includes victories over two of the Sixers division rivals in the Boston Celtics and the Knicks. However, they did fall to the Toronto Raptors on Sunday.
Wednesday night's game is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m., ET and will be broadcast locally on Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia.
