Redskins vs. Eagles: Game time, TV schedule, injury updates and more

First place meets last place in this weekend's game between the Redskins and Eagles. Washington looks to take one more step toward an NFC East title.

Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

The Washington Redskins are one of three teams tied at 8-6 atop the NFC East, and with two weeks remaining, a win over the Philadelphia Eagles would be a huge step toward a division championship.

The Redskins have not won the NFC East since 1999.

Both teams come into this game on streaks. The Redskins have won five in a row, including a 38-21 win over the Cleveland Browns last week. The Eagles, on the other hand, have lost nine out of 10 games, with their most recent blemish a 34-13 home loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III sat out last week's game, but is expected to be back under center to lead the Redskins' offense. The rookie is nearing the 3,000-yard passing mark and has thrown for 18 touchdowns this year. He's also second on the team in rushing yards with 748.

Griffin III will go up against Nick Foles for the Eagles, who took over for Michael Vick when he went down with an injury in Week 10. Vick was listed third this week on Philadelphia's depth chart.
