The Philadelphia 76ers moved closer to returning to .500 on the season on Wednesday, moving to 14-15 with a 99-89 win over the Memphis Grizzlies. The 76ers got off to a slow start in the first, but handily won the other three frames to seal the win.
Dorell Wright had 28 points on the day, shooting 8-for-11 from the field, with 5-for-8 from range. He also had an assist, a steal and six rebounds on the day. He led the way for both teams, with Spencer Hawes for the 76ers coming in second. Hawes shot 9-for-14 and had 20 points on the day.
For the Grizzlies, who are now 18-8, Marc Gasol led the way on 9-for-15 shooting, with 18 points, eight assists and eight rebounds. Zach Randolph pulled down nine rebounds and also shot 10-for-18 from the field.
Next, the 76ers will take on the Golden State Warriors on Friday, while the Grizzlies will take on the Denver Nuggets on Saturday.
