76ers Vs. Cavs Halftime Score Update: Sixers Up Big, 58-41

Halfway through their road contest in Cleveland, the Philadelphia 76ers look ready to snap their first losing streak of the 2011-2012 season. The Sixers shot lights out from the field in the first half and lead the Cavs 58-41 through 24 minutes.

Forward Thaddeus Young has led the way for Philly so far, putting up 12 first half points on 5-8 shooting and grabbing four rebounds. Lou Williams came off the bench to add 10 points, and Jrue Holiday put in 11 points of his own.

Philadelphia's season-long strong play on the defensive end has continued tonight, as they held Cleveland to just 39.5% shooting and surrendered just one made three pointer.

Forward Antawn Jamison leads Cleveland with 15 points, who is playing without standout center Anderson Varejao for the first time since he suffered a broken wrist on Friday night.
