Penn Vs. Cornell: Quakers Host Big Red With Third Place In Ivy League On Line

Penn hosts Cornell in Ivy League action on Friday night.

Penn will host Cornell in Ivy League action on Friday night, with the winner assuming third place in the conference as the regular season winds down.

The Quakers enter Friday with a 5-2 conference record, a half game in front of the Big Red, who sit at 5-3. The two teams played on Jan. 14th, with Penn earning a 64-52 road victory.

Zack Rosen, one of the Ivy's top performers, will look to lead the way for Penn. He scored 18 points in the Jan. win, and has eclipsed double digit scoring in all but two of his games this season.

Both teams trail Ivy League-leading Harvard, who lost their first conference game against Princeton last Saturday. Each will have another shot at the Crimson later this season, who would earn a bid to the NCAA tournament with an Ivy League crown.
