The Penn State Nittany Lions trail the No. 15 Wisconsin Badgers, 35-21, after the first half of play from the Kohl Center.
The Badgers led the half for virtually the entire 20 minutes. Wisconsin pulled away after the first ten minutes with a 12-2 run over three minutes. The Nittany Lions only shot 34.5% in the first half, including just 1-9 from behind the arc. Wisconsin was on fire from behind the arc and hit seven of their 14 three-point attempts. Wisconsin dominated the paint with 18 rebounds to Penn State's 10.
Tim Frazier led Penn State with 10 points on 5-9 shooting. Nobody else on the Nittany Lions had more than three points. Wisconsin guard Josh Gasser led all scorers with 11 points on 3-4 shooting from behind the arc. Ryan Evans chipped in eight points for the Badgers.
