Kimmo Timonen and Jakub Voracek are both expected to return to the Philadelphia Flyers lineup Tuesday night against the New Jersey Devils.
Timmonen sat the past five games due to a back injury, snapping his streak of 248 consecutive games played.
"It's a tough thing," he said after the morning skate. "You don't want to miss games. I played 3 1/2 years not missing a game. I knew it was going to happen. I'm excited to be back."
He admitted the break helped him.
"Mentally, it's been great," Timonen said. "I played a lot of hockey the last four years. Obviously, the last 10 days I didn't do much. Mentally is was really good. Hopefully, it carries over."
Voracek missed three games with concussion symptoms.
