2012 NIT, St. Joe's Vs. Northern Iowa: Hawks Fall In Final Seconds, 67-65

St. Joseph's took their opening round game of the 2012 NIT against the University of Northern Iowa Panthers all the way down to the wire. It was not enough to contain Seth Tuttle who led the Panthers to a 67-65 win.

Assisted by Carl Jones, Ronald Roberts, Jr. tied the game at 65-65 on a big dunk with seven seconds left. He then fouled Tuttle who sunk two free throws to give UNI the win. Tuttle was nine-for-10 from the free-throw line in the game.

The Hawks had no answer for Tuttle all night. He finished with 23 points and 11 rebounds, the highlight of a UNI offense that shot only 37.5 percent from the field.

Carl Jones led the Hawks with 24 points, and C.J. Aiken scored 16. They were on the only players in double figures for St. Joe's.
