The state of Pennsylvania currently is home of two of the hottest team in the NHL, and both of them meet Sunday afternoon in a national televised contest on NBC (12:30 p.m. ET). The Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins face off at the Wells Fargo Center as both franchises quickly making moves up the Eastern Conference standings.

Currently, both squads are on torrid streaks with the Flyers (41-22-8, 90 points) going 7-1-1 in their last nine games, while the Penguins (44-21-5, 93 poitns) are on a 11-game winning streak.

Philly's recent play can mostly be attributed to the outstanding goaltending from Ilya Bryzgalov, who's 9-2-1 with a 1.64 goals-against average and four shutouts since being pulled in a loss to Pittsburgh last month.

Meanwhile, the Penguins have been sparked by the return of star forward Sidney Crosby, who has tallied five assists in just two games, and the outstanding play of Evgeni Malkin, who has compiled eight goals and eight assists.

Overall, this will be the fourth match-up between these two Pennsylvania rivals, as the Flyers own a 2-1 series lead. The last meeting, Feb. 18, featured the Penguins winning 6-4.
