Coming off a thrilling victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Philadelphia Flyers are looking to keep momentum and earn their sixth straight victory over the visiting Florida Panthers Tuesday at the Wells Fargo Center at 7 p.m. ET on COMCAST. The Flyers (42-22-8, 92 points) are winners of eight of their last 10 games and are looking to lock down a top spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs, while the Panthers (35-23-13, 83 points) will be searching for their fifth consecutive victory.
On Sunday, Scott Hartnell netted a game-winning goal with about 1 second remaining in overtime to down inter-state rival Penguins, 3-2. The victory moved Philly to just one point behind of fourth-place Pittsburgh in the Eastern Conference standings.
The recent string of Flyers victories can be largely attributed to goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov, who's 8-0-1 with a 1.19 goals against average in the month of March.
Meanwhile, the Panthers are also riding a hot goaltender, Jose Theodore, who's 4-0-1 with a 1.36 gga in his last five starts. Theodore's last loss came against the Flyers on March 8.
