Drexel Basketball Coach Bruiser Flint Agrees To Multi-Year Extension

Drexel Dragons men's basketball coach Bruiser Flint has agreed to a multi-year extension with the school (via Philly.com). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Drexel athletic director Eric Zillmer said about the extension:

"Bruiser has done an outstanding job of making Drexel one of the top programs in the CAA over the last 11 years," Zillmer said. "We look forward to him continuing to lead the Dragons in the years to come."

Flint has coached Drexel for the past 11 seasons. This past season, Drexel won a school-record 29 games and advanced to the NIT Quarterfinals before falling to UMass, 72-70. Flint's Dragons have advanced to the postseason five times and have won 20 or more games three times out of the past six seasons. Flint was also named the CAA Coach of the Year a record 4th time after guiding Drexel to a 16-2 league record and a regular season CAA championship. Flint is third on the school's all-time wins list with 199 victories.
