After a relatively relaxed Tuesday of Championship Week basketball, SB Nation's Chris Dobbertean has come out with his latest Bracketology projections.
With a very commanding win yesterday, UConn hasn't taken itself off the bubble yet, but made a nice move to solidify its spot. As Dobbertean points out, the Huskies had to win that game and secured it early on. If they can get a victory over West Virginia today, Jim Calhoun's bunch might have done enough to warrant an at-large bid.
Another Big East team that helped itself was Seton Hall, who handled an inferior Providence squad. If the Pirates can move past Louisville this evening, they should be in without question.
A team that is definitely dancing is Harvard. For the first time since 1946, the Crimson are back in the NCAA Tournament after watching Penn lose to Princeton. Currently, Dobbertean has Harvard sitting on the 11 line.
Other teams that clinched automatic bids yesterday are Western Kentucky, Detroit and South Dakota State. Give the Hilltoppers of Western Kentucky credit, they overcame a coach getting fired in the middle of the season to make it. However with a 15-18 record, it's almost a certainty they'll be a No. 16 seed.
