NBA Standings 2012: Philadelphia 76ers Now In Dogfight For Playoff Spot

For a portion of the season's beginning, the Philadelphia 76ers were the NBA's very best team, functioning at a high level on both sides of the court. But Philadelphia's recent struggles, including a current four-game losing streak, leave the team in a dogfight for a playoff spot.

The 76ers now trail the Boston Celtics by three games in the Atlantic Division and are tied with the New York Knicks for the seventh playoff spot, just 1.5 games ahead of the Milwaukee Bucks, who are ninth in the conference.

According to John Hollinger's playoff odds as of April 10, Philadelphia has a 76.5 percent chance of making the playoffs and a 9.6 percent chance of winning the division.
