The second leg of the Triple Crown is set to get underway this weekend.
Of course, that would be the 137th Preakness Stakes which will take place on Saturday at the venerable setting of the Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, MD.
All eyes will be on I'll Have Another, who won a thrilling Kentucky Derby just over a week ago. He'll start on the inside and be wearing the "1".
If I'll Have Another can find a way to win once more, he'll enter the Belmont Stakes with the chance to become the first horse to win the Triple Crown since Affirmed in 1978.
However, Friday brings us the Black-Eyed Susan race, a stakes event that has been going on since 1919, when it was originally called the Pimlico Oaks. It's a long-time tradition looked forward to by many as a prelude to Pimlico's more famous event.
The Preakness is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. ET, after many earlier races are completed. Those begin at 10:30 a.m. ET.
