The horse is rode by Joe Bravo, a native of Long Branch, NJ . Teeth of the Dog is the son of Bluegrass Cat and owned by J.W. Singer.
Teeth of the Dog didn't make his initial appearance on the horse racing scene until December of 2011 at Gulfstream, where he came in third place according to Preakness.com.
His trainer is Michael R. Matz, who was born in Collegeville, PA. His fine horse will be a long-shot pick on Saturday.
