Indy 500 2012 Weather Forecast: Qualifying Expected To Be Sunny And Warm

The 2012 Indy 500 Qualifying is likely to be blessed with some very nice weather.

The two-day qualifying process takes place on Saturday and Sunday.

According to Weather.com, the weekend forecast in Indianapolis calls for nothing but sun and warmth. Temperatures are expected to reach close to 90 degrees, so anybody attending the qualifying this weekend should dress lightly and bring plenty of sunscreen.

There's a 10 percent chance of rain on Sunday, but the weekend is expected to remain dry nonetheless.

The weekend's 2012 Indianapolis 500 Qualifying Schedule follows:

May 19: Qualifying from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET

May 19: Fast Nine from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET

May 20: Qualifying from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET
