No horse has achieved Triple Crown status since Affirmed in 1978, but I'll Have Another will have the oppurtunity to change that at the Belmont Stakes. The horse won added a Preakness victory to its Kentucky Derby victory this Saturday, in thrilling fashion.
At Churchhill Downs, I'll Have Another made its move from the middle of the pack during the final stretch, eventually surpassing the favorite with about 200 yards remaining. During the 137th running of the Preakness, I'll Have Another did it again, but made his move much later, and passed Bodemeister with only a few yards to spare.
