Indianapolis 500 Race: Start Time, TV Schedule, Live Updates And More

The 96th running of the Indianapolis 500 will begin Sunday, May 27, at noon. Coverage will begin at 9 AM EST on ABC and continue until the race's completion. For the folks attending the race, gates will open precisely 5:33 AM. The, the rest of the day's events are as follows:

7 am - Snake Pit Opens - Turn 3 Infield

8:30 am - Parade of Bands - Track

8:45 am - Krewella - Turn 3 Infield

9:30 am - Bikini/Hot Bod Contest - Turn 3 Infield

9:45 am - 500 Festival Princesses Lap - Track

9:55 am - All Cars To Pit Lane - Track

10:15 am - Cars Begin To Grid On Track - Track

10:40 am - All Cars In Place On Grid - Track

10:50 am - Engine Warm-Up - Track

10 am - Benny Benassi - Turn 3 Infield

11 am - Indianapolis 500 Pre-Race Begins - Track

11 am - Vintage Car Laps - Track

11:10 am - Military Tribute Lap - Track

11:30 am - Driver Introductions - Yard of Bricks

12 pm - Start of the 96th Indianapolis 500 (200 Laps) - Yard of Bricks

1 pm - Krewella - Turn 3 Infield
