2012 Indy 500 Live: Marco Andretti Leads A Quarter Of The Way Through

The Indianapolis 500 is now a quarter of the way thru and Marco Andretti is the leader of the "Greatest Spectacle of Motorsports". Andretti, who has led the most laps of the race so far, has been trading the lead with race pole-sitter Ryan Briscoe.

Currently, Scott Dixon is in second place, James Hinchcliffe is in third, Briscoe is in fourth, Takuma Sato is in fifth.

So far, the race has seen six different drivers lead the race and nine different lead changes. The leaders are running laps of about 216 miles per hour and everyone has just completed green-flag pit stops. There has been only one caution.

The weather in Indianapolis is beautiful and there should be no issue of rain or a cancellation of the race. If you'd like to catch the race on TV, it's on ABC.
