2012 Kentucky Derby Triple Crown Results: 'I'll Have Another' Wins 138th Kentucky Derby

The 138th Kentucky Derby is complete and I'll Have Another is your winner. The horse's jockey, Mario Gutierrez, was riding in his first career Kentucky Derby. Doug O'Neil was the horse's trainer and J. Paul Reddam is the proud owner.

Bodemeister, who opened the day as the favorite with 4/1 odds, led most of the race, but I'll Have Another turned on the jets in the final stretch, passing Bodemeister with approximately 100 yards remaining. Bodemesiter finished the race second, followed by Dullahan in third.

Saturday's race marks the first time in Kentucky Derby history that the horse in the 19th pole position has won the race.

Below is a video of the race in its full entirety, often referred to as the "most exciting two minutes in sports".
