French Open 2012 Results, Round 3: Agnieszka Radwanska Upset While Other High Seeds Have Good Day

Round 3 of the 2012 French Open saw some upsets on Friday on both the Men's and Women's side of the draw, but for the most part it was another good day for the seeds.

In terms of upsets:

The Women's No. 3, Agnieszka Radwanska, fell to Svetlana Kuznetsova, 6-1, 6-2.

No. 13, Ana Ivanovic, was defeated by Sara Errani, 1-6, 7-5, 6-3.

On the Men's side, No. 11 seed Gilles Simon lost to No. 18 Stanislas Wawrinka, 7-5 6-7(5) 6-7(3) 6-3 6-2.

High Seeds Advancing:

Women: No. 1 Victoria Azarenka, No. 2 Maria Sharapova and No. 6 Samantha Stosur all advanced on straight-set wins.

Men: No. 1 Novak Djokovic won, 6-1, 6-2, 6-2, over Nicolas Devilder. No. 3 Roger Federer defeated Nicolas Mahut, 6-3, 4-6, 6-2, 7-5. No. 5 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, No. 7 Tomas Berdych, and No. 9 Juan Martin del Potro also won.
