Joey Logano took home his second career victory with a win at Pocono Raceway on Sunday. Logano bumped Mark Martin with three laps to go to retake the lead. The win was the first since 2009 for Logano. He was the first pole-sitter to win a NASCAR race in the last 31 events. The second place finish was the seventh of Martin's career at Pocono.
The new surface at Pocono gave drivers trouble while gauging their speed on pit row, which resulted in 18 penalties. Jeff Gordon, Brad Keselowski, Jimmie Johnson, Travis Kvapil, Martin Truex Jr., Clint Bowyer, Kevin Harvick, Jeff Burton and Kyle Busch were among the notables penalized for speeding.

Matt Kenseth moved into first place with the top ten finish. Dale Earnhardt Jr. also moved up and trails Kenseth by 10 points. Greg Bifle's 24th place finish at Pocono dropped him from first to third.
