Phillies Vs. Rays: Friday Game Time, TV Schedule And Probable Starters

The Philadelphia Phillies and the Tampa Bay Rays start a three game set at Citizens Bank Park starting on Friday night. Cliff Lee will face James Shields in the opener.

The Philadelphia Phillies (33-38) look to build off of their series win against the Colorado Rockies as they welcome the Tampa Bay Rays (38-31) to Citizens Bank Park for a three game set starting Friday night.

Philadelphia will send Cliff Lee (0-3, 3.48 ERA) to the mound, who is still searching for his first win of the season. Lee has had trouble his last two starts, giving up five and four runs against the Blue Jays and Orioles respectively.

The Phillies will be going up against James Shields (7-4, 3.72 ERA), who had two quality starts against the Marlins over the last two weeks. In his last start on the 16th, Shields gave up eight hits and three runs, all unearned, in seven and two thirds innings of work.
