Adam Scott shot a 2-under 68 to finish the third round at 11-under and take a four stroke lead over Brandt Snedeker and Graeme McDowell, both at 7-under, into the final round of the 141st British Open at Royal Lytham \u0026amp; St. Annes. Scott and Snedeker were paired together in the final group on Saturday, and they could not have had a different day. Snedeker had six bogeys on the day, including four of the last five holes on the back nine. The Australian took advantage of Snedeker's troubles, hitting back to back birdies on the seventh and eighth to grab the outright lead. Snedeker was able to recover with birdies on 16 and 18, but the damage was done. Scott cruised to an even par back nine, with a boget at 13 as his only blemish on the day. Tiger Woods sits in fourth place at 6-under after the third round, shooting an even par 70 to stay at 6-under for the tournament. Woods had a horrible start to the day, bogeying holes one and three before making a run before the turn. Woods birdied six, seven and nine to end what was a roller coaster front nine. Woods had a rather uneventful back nine, with a bogey at 15 to finish his day. For the entire leaderboard, please follow this link.
