Team USA Vs. Spain Final Score: Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James Guide USA To 100-78 Win

Team USA men's basketball defeated Spain, 100-78, on Tuesday in Barcelona, Spain in an exhibition game before the 2012 London Olympics.

Spain got out to a quick 14-9 lead and were able to keep pace with the U.S. for most of the first half due to the play of Serge Ibaka, who had 16 points in the half. Ibaka also was called for three goaltends which aided the U.S. which led at the half, 48-40. Carmelo Anthony scored 23 of his 27 points off the bench in the half.

Kevin Durant scored 10 points over the first three and a half minutes of the second half to help Team USA build a 15-point lead they would use to hold Spain at bay the rest of the game. LeBron James would catch fire in the second half and finish with 25 points.

Anthony led the U.S. with 27 points. Philadelphia 76ers forward Andre Iguodala only saw nine minutes of action. He had one rebound, one assisted and missed both of his shots from the floor. Pau Gasol led Spain with 19 points. Ibaka finished with 16 points.
