Lloyd scored her second goal of the tournament just three minutes later, taking a fantastic through ball by Rapinoe and slotting it pas Sepulveda to close out the scoring. Lloyd was excellent on both sides of the pitch and was in contention for the player of the match award with her performance.

The victory has clinched the United States' place in the quarterfinals of the tournament with one game left to go in the group stage. The United States will next take on North Korea on July 31 in Manchester, England.
