Big East Football Media Poll 2012: Temple Predicted To Finish Last

The Temple Owls are getting its first taste of a big-time college football conference Tuesday, as their head coach and player representatives are taking part in the Big East Conference media day in Newport, RI. Early on, Temple's first appearance at the annual event hasn't come with the great vote of confidence, as the squad was picked to finish last in the eight-team league by its media members.

The favorite to win the conference, by a large margin, was the Louisville Cardinals who earned 24 first-place votes. The South Florida Bulls earned four first-place votes to finish second, while the Rutgers Scarlet Knights are projected to finish third.

The complete poll can be seen after the jump...

  5. Pittsburgh Panthers
  6. Connecticut Huskies
  7. Syracuse
