2012 London Olympics, Equestrian Team Eventing Results: Team USA Fails To Medal, Finishes 7th

The jumping portion of the 2012 London Olympics Equestrian Team event finished Tuesday, and Team USA, which features West Grove, Pa. native Boyd Martin, had a disappointing seven-place finish. Overall, Germany earned the gold medal with a low-point total of 133.70, while Great Britain (138.20) and New Zealand (144.40) earned silver and bronze medals, respectively.

Team USA finished with a point total of 208.60, which was good enough to beat out France, Brazil, Belgium, Netherlands, Japan and Canada.

For Martin, who's competing in his first Olympics, he rode the horse Otis Barbotiere, who is one of three horses Martin is expected to use.
