Team USA Women's Soccer Vs. North Korea: Abby Wambach's Goal Propels USA To 1-0 Victory

Behind a goal by Abby Wambach, the USA Women's soccer team defeated North Korea, 1-0, in its 2012 Olympic Group G finale. The victory helped USA, which had already advanced onto the tournament's quarterfinal, finish pool play with an unblemished 3-0 record.

Team USA now wait to find out find out who it will play in the quarterfinal round. It will either be New Zealand -- if it beats Cameroon -- or Canada -- if Cameroon ties New Zealand or it wins by four or more goals in its next game.

America's lone goal came Wambach, who scored at the 25-minute mark after being setup on a nice pass from teammate Alex Morgan. The tally was Wambach's 141st in international competition.
