The newest member of the Big East Conference got a bit more talented Sunday. The Temple Owls were able to convince former Boston College running back Montel Harris, the ACC's Preseason Player of the Year last season, to transfer to their program.
↵Harris, who was kicked off the BC team in May after repeated violation of team rules, will be eligible to play this season for the Owls. Harris will enter his senior season coming off a knee injury that prevented him from playing for the Eagles last season. Harris finished his career at BC as the program's most prolific running back as he totaled 3,735-rushing yards in three seasons.
↵The upgraded talent will be welcomed by Temple football fans; however, whether Harris can stay out of trouble under head coach Steve Addazio will be the big question.
