Team USA Basketball Vs. Argentina Semifinals Preview, Game Time, TV Schedule

The United States Basketball team are just one win away from the gold medal game as they take on Argentina in a Group A rematch in the semifinals of the 2012 Olympic Games in London, England.

The two teams met in the final day of group play on Aug 6, with the United States pulling away from the Argentinians 126-97. The United States held a one point lead going into halftime but were able to slowly pull away in the second half thanks to Kevin Durant's team leading 28 points. Andre Iguodala had his best game of the tournament as he almost recorded a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. LeBron James chipped in with 17 points for Team USA.

If the United States want a repeat performance of their victory on Monday, they will have to contain Manu Ginobili. The San Antonio Spur kept Argentina in the game with 16 points in the first half, but he was held scoreless in the final two quarters and the U.S. were able to pull away for the easy victory.

If the United States win this afternoon, they will take on the winner of Spain and Russia in the gold medal match on Aug 12.
