The Philadelphia Philles welcome in the St. Louis Cardinals to Citizens Bank Park as the two teams begin a three-game series starting on Friday night.

The Phillies will send out Roy Halladay (5-6, 4.02 ERA) to the mound, who will look to replicate his last start against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Aug 4. It was Halladay's best start since coming off of the disabled list on July 17 as he have up just three hits in seven shutout innings.

St. Louis will counter with Kyle Lohse(12-2, 2.79 ERA), who has emerged as one of the top pitchers in the National League this year. Lohse has been on a tear over the past six weeks, winning his last six decisions and giving up two earned runs or less in eight of his last nine starts.
