2012 PGA Championship Third Round: Jim Furyk 2-Under Par On Round Through 12

Jim Furykis recovering nicely from his second round 77 as he is 2-under par through 12 holes and 3-over par overall in the third round of the 2012 PGA Championship at The Ocean Course on Kiawah Island, SC.

Furyk was a bit inconsistent to start his round as he went birdie-bogey-birdie-bogey on holes two through six, but the West Chester, PA native finally moved to under par on the round when he birdied the 579 yard Par 5 seventh hole and made the turn with a 1-under 35.

Furyk moved to 2-under on the day with a birdie on the Par 5 11th and that's where he currently stands after recording a par on the 12th.

While Furyk still remains seven strokes behind co-leaders Carl Pettersson, Tiger Woods and Vigay Singh who all sit at 4-under par before they begin their third rounds, Furyk has quietly moved up 14 positions on the leaderboard and can set himself up for a Top 20 finish on Sunday.
