The Barclays 2012: Nick Watney Leads The Field On Saturday

The 2012 Barclays at Bethpage Park in Farmingdale, NY has been host to some excellent golf so far, with Nick Watney out in front on Saturday.

Watney is 10-under overall including being 2-under through 11 holes in the third round. The American has been playing very well throughout the tournament, shooting a 65 and 69 in the initial two rounds.

Sergio Garcia is right behind Watney in second place at 9-under, also through 11 holes. The Spaniard hasn't made a charge toward the top of the leaderboard yet, just 1-under on the day.

However, the biggest move on Saturday was made by Kevin Stadler. The American appeared to be playing out the string heading into the weekend, but came up large with a 6-under 65 to get back into serious contention. Stadler is done for the day, sitting just three shots behind Watney.

Tiger Woods is hanging around but is yet to challenge. He's at 5-under overall and at even through 14 holes on the afternoon.
