The Barclays Leaderboard: Sergio Garcia Leads With 18 Holes Left

The 2012 Barclays in Farmingdale, NY have been exciting to say the least. After three rounds, Sergio Garcia is pacing the field with a two-stroke advantage over Nick Watney.

Garcia began Saturday at 8-under before closing at 10-under due in part to a duo of birdies on the 11th and 13th. Garcia was good all day long, grasping the lead despite Watney starting the back nine with a two-stroke cushion.

Watney looked sharp and poised early, but started to falter beginning on the 11th. On the last eight holes of the afternoon, Watney bogeyed four.

Tiger Woods appears to be out of serious contention after shooting a 1-over 72 on Saturday. Woods was one of the favorites coming into the weekend but couldn't muster a run despite four birdies.

The biggest mover on the leaderboard was Kevin Stadler. The American shot a 6-under 65 to climb from 42nd to 3rd. Stadler is alive and well just three shots off Garcia's pace.
