Michael Vick 'Guaranteed' Not To Get Hurt Says Gear Company CEO

Good news Philadelphia Eagles fans! Michael Vick is now guaranteed to play a full 16-game schedule.

At least that's what Rob Vito, CEO of Unequal Technologies says, according to ESPN.com.

"I guarantee he will not get hurt," Vito said.

Vick has had a hard time staying on the field throughout his NFL days, dating back to when he played for the Atlanta Falcons. In the nine seasons Vick has played, he's only once been able complete a full schedule without missing time. In fairness, he did have three years where he only missed one contest.

For his part, Vick is thrilled to try something new for the sake of health.

"I'm looking forward to it … to give me more protection and just to see what comes out of it," Vick told the Philadelphia Daily News after Tuesday's practice. "It's going to be custom-fitted and fitted to protect all across my sternum, across my ribs. I think it'll be a better fit."

However, Vito says the days of Vick being sidelined are over thanks to his gear that's military-grade.

"What Michael is wearing was born on the battlefield and forged on the gridiron," Vito said.
