Team USA Basketball Vs. Argentina Final Score: Kevin Durant Leads U.S. In 126-97 Win

Team USA Men's Basketball defeated Argentina, 126-97, on Monday at the 2012 London Olympics to finish Group A play with a 5-0 record.

Philadelphia 76ers forward Andre Iguodala had his best game of the Olympics. He had 16 points through four games but finished group play with a 13-point, nine-rebound game against Argentina. Iguodala also played 20 key minutes for the U.S. while other stars ran into foul trouble.

The U.S. and Argentina played a close game through halftime, with the U.S. leading 60-59 at the break. LeBron James and Kevin Durant both scored at will in the third quarter and were the driving forces behind the U.S.' 42-17 advantage in the third quarter. James started the quarter off with quick points before Durant took over with an eventual 17-point quarter. He shot 8-of-10 from behind the arc for the game. The starters from both teams got to rest in the fourth quarter and the scoring was more even.

Durant led all scorers with 28 points. James finished with 18 points before sitting with four fouls. Iguodala was joined in double-figure scoring by Kobe Bryant (11), Kevin Love (13) and Chris Paul (17). The team's leading scorer going into the game, Carmelo Anthony, ran into foul trouble early and finished with just five points. Manu Ginobili scored all of his team-leading 16 points in the first half for Argentina.

The U.S. advances to play Australia (3-2) from Group B in the quarterfinals on Aug. 8.
