Despite winning seven medals on Tuesday at the 2012 London Olympics, the U.S. still trails China in the overall medal count, 73-70. The U.S. also trails China in gold medals, 34-30.
The U.S. won one gold medal (Aly Raisman, women's gymnastics floor routine) along with four silver medals and two bronze medals on Tuesday. Dawn Harper (women's 100-meter hurdles), Erik Kynard (men's high jump), Sarah Hammer (women's omnium, cycling) and Leo Manzano (men's 1500-meter, track) were silver medalists for Team USA on Tuesday. Kellie Wells won bronze in women's 100-meter hurdles and Aly Raisman also won bronze in the women's balance beam.
