PGA Championship Leaderboard 2012: Jim Furyk Even After 10

The first round of the PGA Championship is underway on the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island in South Carolina. The leaderboard is tightly packed at the top with golfers swinging away to create some distance early. Pennsylvania native Jim Furyk is even after ten holes of play. Ken Duke and Carl Pettersson are tied for the lead at 4-under, having completed 12 and eight holes respectively.

Furyk started off with a birdie on the tenth hole, and hit par on the next three before two birdies. He ran into trouble on the 16th when he double bogeyed. He was two strokes over on the 18th hole as well, and needs a strong showing on the front nine to climb the leadboard on the first day.

Tiger Woods is 1-under after nine holes. Ditto Keegan Bradley, the defending champion.

A complete leaderboard is available from PGA.com.
