Jeremy Maclin suffered a hip pointer as the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, but after receiving treatment he was able to re-enter the game. Despite the injury, Maclin still managed 7-receptions for 96-yards and a score. His hip was still bothering him enough to force him out of practice on Thursday, and he addressed his injury in a recent interview. Via WIP:
I’m a little sore right now, but I’ll be alright. You just do what you gotta do. I went inside and did the things necessary that I needed to do to continue to play, so I just had to get out there and help my team.
The Eagles are looking a bit thin in their receiving ranks at the moment, so Maclin will be a key name to watch as Sunday approaches. The Baltimore Ravens will come to town to face the Eagles at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday. The game will be aired on CBS.
