Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin is fairly certain that he will play Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens, according to Zach Berman. The speedy wide receiver told Berman:
I feel like nothing [is holding me back] right now, but you still want to be careful. Obviously, the injury's still there. As long as you can tolerate the pain, you can be all right.
Maclin says this despite the fact that he missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday, and could only contribute in a limited manor on Friday.
On Friday afternoon, the Eagles announced that he is questionable for Sunday's game.
Maclin is suffering from a hip pointer, which, while not too serious, is considered to be extremely painful. The injury occurred during last Sunday's win against the Cleveland Browns.
Maclin's fellow wideout DeSean Jackson is also listed as questionable. Said coach Andy Reid, "We'll see how they are by game time."
