It's a new week, but pretty much the same story for the Eagles. A rash of turnovers have once again plagued an otherwise productive offense as they trail the Ravens 17-7 at the half.
Last week, the Eagles turned the ball over 5 times against the Browns and so far are on a similar pace against the Ravens. Last week it was 4 INTs and one fumble, but in the first half today its been 2 fumbles and 1 pick. What's worse, two have come in the red zone with the Eagles threatening.
The first came from Michael Vick who made this ill advised across his body throw that was picked by Ravens safety Bernard Pollard.
Luckily, the Eagles D would get the ball right back when Trent Cole strip sacked Joe Flacco on the Ravens' 2nd offensive snap. LeSean McCoy would use a nifty move to break down Ray Lewis for the TD.
McCoy would taketh away however later in the quarter when he fumbled near the goal line after a hit from Ladarius Webb. The other turnover came from rookie RB Bryce Brown, who botched a handoff. In 6 quarters of play so far this season, the Eagles have turned the ball over 8 times.
It's also been a fairly chippy game as you'll see in the video below, with a number of scraps leading to personal fouls.
